This Friday, Netflix premiered the trailer for Historia de un crimen: Colosio, its sixth original series in Mexico after Club de Cuervos, La balada de Hugo Sánchez, Ingobernable, Diablero and La casa de las flores.
With its premiere set for March 22, 2019, Colosio is the first of several anthology series about real crimes that the platform is preparing with Dynamo in Latin America.
The next series already confirmed will be Historia de un crimen: Colmenares and will be set in Colombia.
Historia de un crimen: Colosio will revolve around Luis Donaldo Colosio’s case, whi was brutally murdered 25 years ago when he was running for president in Mexico.
The series stars Jorge A. Jiménez, Ilse Salas, Alberto Guerra, Jorge Antonio Guerrero, Gustavo Sánchez Parra, Martín Altomaro, Lisa Owen and Ari Brickman, among others.
It’s produced by Andrés Calderón, Juan Uruchurtu and Rodrigo Santos and directed by Hiromi Kamata y Natalia Beristáin. Scripts are written by Rodrigo Santos
On March 23, 1994, Luis Donaldo Colosio, candidate and future president of Mexico, is murdered in Tijuana. But who killed him? Why?
