LATIN AMERICA
 
Endemol Shine restructures operations in Latin America. The company shut down its producers in Chile and Peru, Michelle Waserman joined the sales in Chile, and the Joint Venture with Globo in Brazil came to an end. Endemol Chile will continue to operate independently under the new brand, Kuarzo.
 
LATIN AMERICA
 
Medcezir added its third screen in Latin America. Teledoce in Uruguay has acquired the drama and will premiere it in March. Produced by Ay Yapim, Medcezir has already aired in Chile and is currently on the air in Argentina. Teledoce was the only private network in Uruguay that hadn't aired Turkish series yet.
 
ARGENTINA
 
Mediapro acquires a stake in Burman Office. The Spanish group announced the acquisition of an "important stake" in the Argentine company, which is now part of Mediapro's international network of producers. The companies will also co-develop high quality series for the Latin American market. 
 
VENEZUELA
 
It's been a week of media censorship in Venezuela. In addition to blocking CNN en español, the National Telecommunications Commission in Venezuela took TV Azteca off the air, said the National Union of Press Workers. The networks were censored for airing the documentary Pasaportes en la sombra.
 
CHILE
 
Mega and Globo kick-start their new deal with the telenovela Totalmente diva. Mega announced this will be the first title it will premiere from Globo's catalog this year, which will make its debut in March. Totalmente diva aired in Brazil from November 9, 2015 through May 30, 2016.
