LATIN AMERICA
 
El César, the second original biopic by Disney Media Distribution Latin America, Somos Production and BTF Media, following the success of Hasta que te conocí, is premiering September 18 on Space. The series also has premieres set on Telemundo in the US and TV Azteca in Mexico.
 
ARGENTINA
 
Telefe in "advanced talks" to co-produce in Spain. Guillermo Borensztein, International Business Manager at Telefe, spoke to ttvnews about the company's plans to co-produce content in Spain, with two projects already in the pipeline. In addition to Spain, Telefe is looking to co-produce in other countries, like Peru and Ecuador.
 
CHILE
 
Mega-Globo deal starts strong with Total Dreamer premiere. This week, Mega premiered the first telenovela to come out of its alliance with Globo, reaching an average 17.1 rating. During the premiere, #TotalmenteDivaMega was one of the most commented hashtags on Twitter.
 
MEXICO
 
Televisa starts filming Love After Love adaptation. This week, Televisa kicked off filming for the Mexican version of Telefe's telenovela, Love After Love, locally titled Caer en tentación. The new telenovela will premiere in October on Las estrellas.
 
SPAIN
 
Netflix to produce comedy specials in Spain. El Mundo revealed the streaming platform is producing stand-up specials in the European country. The first, already produced by Globomedia, stars comedian Joaquín Reyes. The Joaquín Reyes stand-up special will be called Uno y no más.
