Whats New in LatAm This Week?

Pol-ka readies new series for El Trece, Turner LatAm lands rights to Falco, Netflix announces third Argentine original, Inter Medya and Tondero bring Engin Akyürek to LatAm, Mexican version of Anything Goes returns to Televisa, and more.

This week in the news:
Pol-Ka to shoot a new series for El Trece. Titled Mi hermano es un clon, the daily strip will start shooting on July 23 as the new primetime bet for the Argentine network, which plans to air it after Simona's finale in September. 
Turner LatAm acquires TV rights to Falco. The Mexican adaptation of German series The Last Cop will air on Latin American pay TV channels TNT and TNT Series, which join other windows like Amazon for OTT and Telemundo for broadcast TV in the US. 
Netflix announces third Argentine original. Titled Puerta 7, the new thriller is created by Martin Zimmerman and produced by Pol-ka. It’s set to premiere internationally on Netflix in 2019.
Inter Medya and Tondero bring Engin Akyürek to LatAm. The companies are debuting their partnership, announced back in Natpe, with the Latin America theatrical debut of Turkish film Entrusted.
Mexican version of Anything Goes returns to Televisa. Televisa’s Canal 5 network premiered the third season of the Mexican adaptation of the Endemol Shine format, locally titled Me caigo de risa, on Monday, July 9th at 9:00pm.
