SPAIN
 
The Cathedral of the Sea makes history in Spain. In addition to being the prime time leader, Atresmedia’s super production ended as the most popular Spanish series in delayed-viewing in Spanish history and the second highest-rated national fiction of the year, among other milestones.
 
ARGENTINA
 
El marginal 2 has stellar debut on Argentine broadcast TV. In its premiere on state network TV Publica, the drama’s ratings spiked up to 11.3 points and matched El Trece. Produced by Underground and distributed by Dori Media Group, the new season will have eight episodes.
 
SPAIN
 
Atresmedia and Netflix close acquisition deal. The deal allows Netflix to have first choice over a part of the Series Atresmedia catalogue in order to include the titles as part of its international series offering. 
 
MEXICO
 
Televisa to adapt two more Keshet series. As part of the strategic alliance announced at Natpe 2016, Televisa is adapting two Keshet International series in Mexico, which will join the already produced Mita y mita (Easy Money) and MINT (Loaded).
 
MEXICO
 
Acun Medya to develop Azteca Uno content for three years. Acun Ilıcalı, founder of Turkish company Acun Medya, announced a deal with TV Azteca to produce content for Azteca Uno for the next three years.
