Netflix launches European production hub, Movistar+ original The Pier to premiere in Cannes, Jesus scores stellar debut for Record TV, Global Agency's A Part of Me lands on Telefe, and more.

This week in the news:
Netflix launches first European production hub in Madrid. The new facilities will be located at Ciudad de la Tele, a new 22,000m2 campus in Madrid, currently in construction and managed by Secuoya Group.
Movistar+ original The Pier to premiere at Mipcom. Distributed internationally by Beta Films, the Movistar+ and Telefónica series, in collaboration with Atresmedia Studios and Vancouver Media, will have its World Premiere TV Screening in Cannes on Tuesday, October 16.
Jesus scores stellar debut for Record TV. The premiered of Record TV’s new biblical telenovela registered solid ratings in most of the country, most notably in Goiánia with an average 18.8 rating.
Global Agency’s A Part of Me lands on Telefe. With four Turkish dramas currently on air, the Argentine network is continuing to bet on the genre with the arrival of A Part of Me, which is expected to go on air in August as part of its afternoon schedule. 
Brave and Beautiful bowed out on a high in Chile. On Tuesday, Mega aired the final episode of Eccho Right's Turkish drama, which went on to become one of the most watched shows of the day in Chile.
