CHILE

Insider Bows Out in Chile with Hit Ratings. The final episode of the Turkish drama distributed by Eccho Rights presented its final episode in Chile with 21.5 average rating points, three times more than its closer competitor. The show aired on Mega under its original name Içerde. The broadcast was also the top national trend on Twitter and the second one worldwide.

LATAM

Premium dramas bring great opportunities for Latin America. Caroline Servy, Managing Director at The Wit, gave ttvnews an in depth analysis of the growth of premium dramas have been experiencing in the region, highlighting the new opportunities the genre brings to the region looking at the international market. According to Servy, premium dramas "can really give Latin America he visibility that's been missing."

ARGENTINA

Viacom Telefe to adapt several international Formats. This week the company presented all its programing news during its 2018 upfronts in Buenos Aires with a strong bet on entertainment formats. The highlight goes to Bake Off, First Dates and The Voice, which will all have local adaptations. Dramas will also have a strong push, including Sandro de América, Kally's Mashup and 100 días para enamorarse.

PERU

Star Trek Discovery has a place amongst Peru‘s Favorites. Weeks after the premiere of Stranger Things 2, the Netflix original is at the top of both digital and overall charts. But, the CBS All Access original begins to gain ground on the digital world. Stranger Things registered 9 million demand expressions, while Star Trek tallied 852.840.

INTERNATIONAL

Sr. Ávila and Endless Love won big at the International Emmys. In a night dominated by British productions, HBO Latin America's Sr. Ávila won as best Non-English U.S. Primetime Program. And on the Turkish side of things, Inter Medya stood out with Endless Love, which took home the crown for best Telenovela. Endless Love is the first Turkish drama series to ever receive an Emmy.
