Whats New in LatAm this Week?

Space premieres El César, Marcello Coltro joins NBCU, Discovery's David Zaslav is named Mipcom Personality of the Year, A+E Networks produces new original in Mexico, Fox develops new series with Gael García Bernal, and more.

This Week in the News:
This Monday, September 18th, Space is premiering El César, the new co-production from Disney Media Distribution Latin America, TV Azteca and BTF Media. ttvnews spoke to its producers and stars at the series' presentation in Mexico City.
El César is a successor for the international phenomenon Hasta que te conocí.
Marcello Coltro joins NBCU. The executive, who recently stepped down from his role at Cisneros Media, will be the new SVP of Marketing, PR, Creative and Digital at NBCUniversal International Networks Latin America.  
Coltro will be responsible for NBCU's portfolio of networks in the region. 
Discovery Communications president and CEO, David Zaslav, has been named the Mipcom 2017 Personality of the Year. He will be honored with a Gala Dinner on Wednesday, October 18, at the InterContinental Carlton Hotel.
Zaslav will also give a Media Mastermind keynote address on October 18 at the event.
A+E Networks is ramping up the production of originals in Mexico with the premiere of Gigantes de México, a local adaptation of the US format The Men Who Built America. Airing on the History channel, it will be produced by Argentina's Anima Films.
The Mexican adaptation will showcase the life story of renowned Mexican businessmen.
Gael García Bernal is producing a new series with FOX Networks Group Latin America. Called Aquí en la tierra, the series will premiere in 2018 and mark "a before and after" for the network.
The first eight-episode season of Aquí en la tierra will premiere on FOX Premium.
