Telefe to premiere Above Justice, Sandro de América is the top show of the year in Argentina, Netflix commissions third Colombian original, Money Heist grows past Spain's borders, Patricio Wills joins Televisa, and more. 


Telefe has announced the premiere of Globo's Above Justice.
A few months after its successful run in Chile, the Brazilian giant's miniseries will make its debut on the Argentine network, which is already promoting its premiere. Telefe announced the series will premiere "soon", with no confirmed date yet.


Sandro de América is the top show of the year in Argentina. The series has spent three consecutive nights as an audience leader in the country, while the episode this past Wednesday became the most watched broadcast of the year. The show debuted on March 5 with an average of 15.4 rating points and 49.8% share.


Netflix commissions its third Colombian original. Originally titled Distrito Salvaje, the show will be produced by Dynamo and comes as the third Netflix original in Colombia and the second Dynamo production for the streaming platform. The show will shoot entirely in Colombia and land on the platform with 10 episodes on 2018.


How did Spanish fiction Money Heist grew past Spain's borders? After a solid run in the country, Netflix catapulted the Atresmedia series into much greater success across Latin America and the world, with notable viewership and demand records. According to The Binge Report, Money Heist became the most binged title on SVOD platforms all over the world.


Patricio Wills joins Televisa to replace Rosy Ocampo. The president of W Studios is joining Televisa as president of Televisa Estudios, a new unit that will oversee all of the Mexican giant's productions. He's replacing Rosy Ocampo, who's leaving her role as Corporate VP of Content. Rosy Ocampo will leave her executive role to focus on content production.
