Having ended an great season, Telemundo continues to shape its new lineup, announcing two of its biggest fiction titles.
El César arrives in the US
Tuesday, November 7 at 8:00pm (7:00pm Central), will mark the US premiere of El César, the biopic about the life of Mexican and international boxing icon, Julio César Chávez, produced by Disney Media Distribution Latin America, TV Azteca and BTF Media.
The fiction starring Armando Hernández will premiere on broadcast TV for the first time, currently airing on pay TV across Latin America on Space, since September 18, at 10:30pm.
Distributed internationally by Disney Media Distribution, El César will also premiere in Mexico on Azteca 7.
The 26-episode series is executive produced by Fernando Barbosa, Leonardo Aranguibel and Francisco Cordero, and directed by Alejandro Aimetta; with production by Mariano Carranco and direction of photography by Jerónimo Rodríguez.
The fourth season of Woman of Steel
In addition, Telemundo announced its successful series Woman of Steel is returning on Monday, November 6 at 10:00pm (9:00pm Central).
The series will replace The Lord of the Skies, whose fifth season is coming to an end as one of the most popular on the Hispanic network.
Based on an original story by Roberto Stopello and written by Indira Páez, this fourth season shows the hard reality of undocumented immigrants who cross the Mexico-US border.
Woman of Steel, premiered for the first time in 2014, is an original Telemundo Studios production, developed by Argos Televisión, directed by Miguel Varoni and Felipe Aguilar, and executive produced by Mariana Iskandarani.
