Both positions report to Vanessa Shapiro, Gaumont’s President, Worldwide TV Distribution and Co-Production.

The appointments coincide with the news that the company’s flagship drama series, Narcos, currently in production for season four, will be presented for the first time to linear TV partners worldwide at the NATPE market in January 2018.

Rankings from Parrot Analytics demonstrate unparalleled demand for Narcos, which dominated the month of September, 2017, when season three launched as the #1 most in-demand Netflix title in the U.S. and #5 most popular global title.

“With Narcos linear TV rights soon available in addition to all our new releases coming up this year, the timing is perfect to round out our sales team and these new appointments ensure that we have seasoned executives on the ground across the globe to represent Gaumont’s growing programming roster,” said Shapiro.

Previously, Rottier served as VP of North American Sales at Miramax. She joined the company in 2011 following a long-standing tenure with MGM in various roles, including VP of North American Television.

Prior to his new role, Olzanski’s brings 20 years of experience with prior positions at Snap TV, where he served as Director of International Sales and Distribution, and Endemol International.
