Global Agency to Distribute Upgrade Worldwide

The Turkish company announced it will be representing the hit Israeli game show, which has already aired in 20 territories, with intentions to expand its presence in Latin America, the US and Europe. 

Global Agency is starting 2019 with a new format that has already proven to be a hit around the world: Upgrade.

Created by the Israeli production company Tanin Productions & TV, the format has already been broadcasted in almost 20 territories around the world including Brazil (Shoptime), Uruguay (Canal 10), Spain (Telemadrid), Italy (Italia Uno), Turkey (Show TV), Norway (TV2), China (CCTV2), Russia (Peretz) and Canada (Channel V).

And now, the Turkish company is looking to expand the game show’s reach into major European territories, Latin America and the US.

Upgrade is an entertaining reality game show where the host rings random doors and offers people the chance to participate in a television game show to various prizes without even leaving their houses.

After answering 4 out of 5 trivia questions correctly, the contestants are able to upgrade their home appliances. If they fail to do so, their home appliances are locked and they can’t use it for one month!

Along with its interesting structure, the format is also a great show to insert branded products and so far has attracted great sponsorship deals.

We are sure that Global will lead the format to reach even higher achievements,” commented Gili Golan, founder of Tanin Productions and creator of Upgrade alongside Saar Brodsky and Rodrigo Gonzales.

On its end, Umay Ayaz, Head of Acquisitions at Global Agency, added that Tanin is the “perfect and expert partner in the industry”, adding about the new title that they “set out to spread all around the world this proven format which contains various elements that audience love to watch”.
