The newly created Turkish distributor has closed its first ever deal since launching to the market, taking the show to Greece and finalizing some further deals in Latin America.

Turkish distribution company Madd Entertainment might be new to the market, but it's already making a splash with its varied catalogue. After announcing the addition of drama My Little Girl to its catalogue, the company has just announced its first ever deal.

Thanks to an agreement with Greek company Victory, the endearing Turkish drama will make its way to Greece on DVD.

“This is the first time we’re announcing the deal, but My Little Girl has been sold to Greece with DVD rights and we’re working with Victory, who are really good friends of Turkish content,” mentioned Özlem Özsümbül, Director of International Sales at Madd Entertainment to ttvnews at Mipcom.

My Little Girl is the tragic story of Öykü and her father Demir. Öykü is 8 years old and her life changes dramatically when her aunt abandons her. The only person she can count on is her dad, who she saved from going to jail, on the condition that he takes care of her. But even though he accepts, his only wish in life is to get rid of her and become rich with his best friend.

In addition, the executive mentioned the distributor is also working on further deals for the title in Latin America, where the excitement for Turkish dramas continues as strong as ever.

“We will have some new announcements in the Latin world, “ revealed Özsümbül. “We are in the final stages of negotiations, which is good because we are coming to the market with new titles.”

Some of Madd's other highlights include new Turkish super series such a Persona and Phi, as well as One Litre of Tears and Crash, which accoerding to the executive are also generating major buzz in the market.
