George Cheeks and Paul Telegdy will keynote on Wednesday, January 23rd as part of the event's top-line programming highlights in Miami.
NATPE is gearing up for its 2019 edition and the market floor has already announced a collection of top-line programming highlights for Miami, including the first public speaking appearance from the two newly appointed co-chairs of NBC Entertainment, George Cheeks and Paul Telegdy.
The pair are set to keynote with a moderated conversation at NATPE Miami Marketplace & Conference 2019 on Wednesday, January 23rd.
The programming slate is set to surpass that of previous years, while bringing back some favorites like the return of popular panels “How Wall St. Watches Television” and the Station Group Forum as well as the 2019 edition of the NATPE Latin American Summit.
Sessions making their debut at NATPE Miami this year include Hollywood Dealmaker, curated by Lionsgate Television Group President Sandra Stern; a one-on-one talk on the future of distribution between 20th Century Fox Television Distribution President Mark Kaner and Gerhard Zeiler President of Turner International.
In addition, a first-time special event headlined by media mogul Tyler Perry and produced by NATPE entitled Living the Dream: A Career in Content will take place on the Monday prior to the conference opening its doors.
Furthermore, the event is also offering sessions covering monetization in the digital age, which will include Platforms + OTT; Unscripted; and Brands x Content.
Also on Wednesday NATPE will present a unique panel with ad sales cheifs from major networks including, Steve Mandala (Univision); Mark Marshall (NBCUniversal); and Jon Steinlauf (Discovery).
This will be followed by multiple showcases and discussions featuring top brands utilizing content to reach a measurable audience, creating their own IP and delivering new revenues via targeted/programmatic advertising.

Additional programming highlights, including this year’s recipients of the annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards, will be announced in the coming weeks.
