Last week, Netflix officially began filming its second original Colombian series: Siempre Bruja
. The series will have 10 episodes and premiere globally on Netflix in 2019.
It's produced by Dago García (Pedro el escamoso, El Paseo) and stars Angely Gaviria (Pambelé), Valeria Emiliani (La Cacica) Sofia Araujo (Sinú, Río de Pasiones), Youtuber Dylan Fuentes, young stars Carlos Quintero, Duban Prado, and Lenard Vanderaa;
Siempre Bruja will follow Carmen, a young Colombian slave and witch form the XVII century in a desperate attempt to save her beloved, travels in time to modern-day Cartagena. As she tries to adapt to this new world, Carmen will soon understand that once a witch, always a witch.
The cast is completed by Constanza Duque (Kadabra, Cafe con Aroma de Mujer), Sebastián Eslava (Narcos, La Niña), Luis Fernando Hoyos (Loving Pablo, Los Graduados), Verónica Orozco (Anónima, A Corazón Abierto).
Filmed entirely in Colombia with locations in Bogota, Cartagena and Honda, this drama for young adults will be produced by Caracol Televisión for Netflix.

Siempre Bruja joins Netflix's diverse original production series filmed in Latin America, including the recently announced Colombian series with Dynamo Producciones, as well as Distrito Salvaje, Ingobernable, Club de Cuervos, La Casa de las Flores, Edha, Narcos, Samantha!, O Mecanismo, O Matador, 3% and Coisa Mais Linda, among others.
