The teen musical telenovela, its first in Latin America, is one of the fastest-growing in its platform, according to the app TV Time.
Go! Vive a tu manera’s viewership between February 25 and March 3 grew 64.80% from the previous week, making the series ranked fifth in its weekly “Shows on the rise” ranking, which gathers the series that grow the most around the world.
With these results, it’s no wonder Netflix is already preparing to expand the series and announced it’s producing a second season.
Go! Vive a tu manera tells the story of Mia, a talented and brave girl who lives with her adoptive godmother and gets a scholarship to study at the prestigious Saint Mary's Academy, a school renowned for its acclaimed art department and privileged students.
Once inside Saint Mary, Mia seeks to adapt to her new school, but finds herself confronting the daughter of the owner, the most talented and popular girl in the academy. With the help of her two new friends, Mia decides to conquer Saint Mary, even capturing the attention of the heartbreaker and basketball player, the brother of her rival.
The series stars Pilar Pascual in the role of Mia, alongside Renata Toscano from Mexico, and Renata Toscano, José Giménez Zapiola and Santiago Sáez from Argentina.
The cast also includes Carmela Barsamian, Paulo Sanchez Lima, Majo Chicar, Laura Azcurra, Gaston Ricaud, Colombian Majo Cardozo and Mexican Axel Muñiz.
