With the broadcast of the first two episodes, Selena Quintanilla's captivating story helped TNT to become the most watched network on pay TV's primetime in Mexico among viewers on the 18-49 demo.

The exclusive premiere of the first episode of Selena's Secret, the anticipated series based on the story of singer and "Tex Mex" queen Selena Quintanilla has captivated Mexican viewers, mentioned Turner's network on Tuesday.

The series, which is broadcasted exclusively on TNT every Sunday at 9:00pm, became, after its first broadcast, the most watched primetime pay TV show (target 18-49).

In addition, it promoted TNT to the Top 5 of the main television networks following broadcast TV channels like Las estrellas, Azteca Uno, Canal 5 and Azteca 7.

The trend kept strong during the second episodes, which placed the network among the Top 5 prime time pay TV networks (target 18-49) and in the Top 10 of all channels in Mexico, including broadcast TV.

"Selena's Secret has reached all kinds of audiences, from 18-year-olds to young-adults, the latter being the highest-performing target, which includes mostly women between the ages of 35 and 49," was said from TNT.

Selena's Secret stars Maya Zapata, Damayanti Quintanar and Sofía Lama, with performances by Jorge Zárate, David Zorrilla and Eduardo Santamarina; and is directed by Alejandro Aimetta and Natalia Beristain.

The plot is created by Leonardo Aranguibel and the scripts come from David Jasqui along with Alejandro Aimetta.

The 13-episode series is produced by BTF Media in co-production with Disney Distribution Latin America, Moconoco and LatinWe.

It is broadcast exclusively every Sunday at 9:00pm by TNT, with reruns at 10:00pm, Wednesday 9:00pm, Saturday 2:00pm and Sunday 8:00pm.
