In its premiere episode, the second season of Sin senos sí hay paraíso took over the Telemundo screen on Tuesday, July 25.
According to Nielsen, the telenovela produced by Fox Telecolombia averaged 1.83 million viewers in its debut, 965,000 adults 18-49 and 436,000 adults 18-34.
With these numbers, the show became the best 9:00pm premiere on Telemundo in the last five years.
In addition, the first episode of the second season of Sin senos sí hay paraíso surpassed the US broadcast networks Fox, CBS, ABC and The CW in the 18-49 and 18-34 demos, while beating FOX also in total viewers.
On social media, Sin senos sí hay paraíso reached 9 million global users and generated 5.1 million video views during its premiere. In addition, it ranked as the #1 social show among the Spanish-language networks, and #2 overall.
This way, Telemundo continues to consolidate its audience leadership in the US Hispanic prime time, thanks to its original productions.
This Tuesday, the telenovela, Jenni Rivera: mariposa de barrio (8:00pm) and the super series El señor de los cielos 5 (10:00pm) complemented the premiere of Sin senos sí hay paraíso 2 to make Telemundo the leading Spanish-language network in prime time (8:00pm to 11:00pm).
This way, the network surpassed Univision by 11% among adults 18-49 and 23% among adults 18-34.
In addition, since the premiere of El señor de los cielos 5, Telemundo has surpassed Univision in the prime time slot on 81% of the time in those two key demos.
Sin senos sí hay paraíso is the continuation of Sin senos no hay paraíso, aired on Telemundo in 2008. In Colombia, this year the first season (aired on Caracol as Sin tetas sí hay paraíso) ranked as the country's highest-rated broadcast.
