Although there's still over a month left for the next edition of Mipcom, which this year will take place in October 17-20 in Cannes, Telemundo announced the star titles in its lineup.
The company is presenting its most recent ratings' hits, as well as HBO Latin America's production, with whom it signed a distribution deal last October.
1 – Silvana sin lana
It's a 121-episode telenovela, currently on the air in the US on Telemundo. It tells the story of Silvana "Chivis" Rivapalacios de Villaseñor, mother of three girls and wife of one of the most influential businessmen in the city. His bad decisions and obscure business cause him to go broke, abandoning his family and leaving them on the street.
So Chivis, her mother and her three daughters must re-build their lives in a middle-class neighborhood, where they will learn the true meaning of hard work.
It stars Maritza Rodríguez, Carlos Ponce and Adriana Barraza.
2 – Señora Acero 3: La coyote
Still on the air on Telemundo, it's another one of the US network's big hits, with 80, one-hour episodes. In this third season, Vicenta Rigores is a beautiful, strong-tempered woman, one of the most respected and feared coyotes in the Mexico-USA border.
While the Homeland Security officers follow her steps, other coyotes, who consider her their biggest competition, want her dead.
It stars Sergio Goyri, Carolina Miranda, Luis Ernesto Franco, Adrián Di Monte, Laura Flores, José María Torre and Alejandro Speitzer.
3 - Sin Senos Sí Hay Paraíso
It's the continuation of the successful Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso. This time, the 90, one-hour episode telenovela, tells the story of a new generation of women determined to be successful without having to undergo plastic surgery or fall prey of easy money.
It stars Carolina Gaitan, Juan Pablo Urrego, Catherine Siachoque and Fabián Rios.
4 – Psi
Psi arrives at Mipcom through the alliance created in October between Telemundo and HBO Latin America. It's one of the network's most successful original productions in the region.
It's a drama series that follows the adventures of Carlo Antonini, both inside and outside his office, as a psychiatrist, psychologist and psychoanalyst interested in unusual cases that challenge him, and even put his family in danger.
Telemundo will take a 13, one-hour episodes season, with rights for Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
