The remarkable ratings obtained by the show’s inaugural run on Antena 3 –after seven years on Telecinco- have led to the Atresmedia-owned channel renewing the talent show via a groundbreaking casting process.

On January 7, The Voice entered a new phase in its Spanish run when it aired on Antena 3, which has turned the talent show into the tip of the spear of its entertainment offering.

After ten nights leading primetime ratings uninterruptedly with blind auditions, it is 2019’s most watched program, averaging 20.9% share and 3,199,000 viewers.

Given this scenario, Atresmedia’s main channel has announced that The Voice is being renewed for another season, which joins the already confirmed for The Voice Kids and the first Spanish installment of The Voice Senior

The announcement, however, comes after the setting in motion of a groundbraking street casting process, adhering to the innovation strategy implemented for the show since it landed in its new home.

Produced by Atresmedia in collaboration with C&C Publicidad, the aforementioned consists of a competition called “Win with your voice” to be held in the near future in several shopping malls across Spain. The prize is a ticket to the final stage of the casting process for the next installment of The Voice.

"Win with your voice" is aimed at solo singers of legal age who reside in Spain.

From the enrollees, 30 candidates will be selected in each category for them to take part in the competition. The online community will vote for three of them as, simultaneously to the enrollment period, it chooses their favorites for the local semi-final.

In Spain, The Voice, a format property of Talpa Global, is produced by BoomerangTV.

To be the link between the main players in the entertainment industry is not an easy task. It means creating a platform aimed at a group of highly informed and demanding professionals. But with great effort and commitment, we did it.
