Universal Cinergia Dubbing continues to expand its operations in Mexico, announcing the opening of new recording studios in the country.
The announcement was made by Liliam Hernandez, President & CEO and Gema Lopez, President & COO of Universal Cinergia Dubbing.
The studios will be based in Mexico City, with industry veteran Cristina Littin as Director of Operations.
Cinergia already has 17 studios in Cuernavaca, Mexico, working non-stop in Spanish language projects.
For the last 5 years Universal Cinergia has been one of the leading dubbing studio for Turkish content into Spanish, and has been a huge part of its growth in Latin America, with approximately 6000 hours of Turkish content per year, all dubbed in the Mexico studios.
Cristina Littin has vast experience working with Turkish content, and she is now joining the company, bringing her expertise, talent and business savvy, which will be a major asset to the team.
Cristina has over 25 years of experience as a producer and executive, with a background that includes international co-productions, film distribution, running her own dubbing company in Chile, as well as University teaching of Executive Production and Film Marketing.
Liliam Hernandez said: “Gema and I are truly excited about the new studios. We have been expanding in the past few years, and this move is a response to the growing demand for Spanish dubbing. We will be strategically located in Mexico City, which will allow us to produce more volume of work and increase the current dubbing capacity of 800 hours monthly, adding about 300 hours monthly to our overall dubbing capacity for Spanish. All our studios follow the TPN Guidelines.”
