Viacom International Studios - Americas (VIS) announced an exclusivity deal (First Look Deal) with renowned Argentine director, screenwriter, film and television producer, Juan José Campanella, and his production company 100 Bares, to develop and produce premium content for the next two years.

Oscar winner for Best International Feature Film in 2010 with The Secret in their Eyes, Campanella is an international film director and scriptwriter, as well as various movies and TV series in the United States. His ability to recreate situations and provoke emotions through the screen led him to be highly respected for his work throughout America and Europe.
100 Bares Productions is one of the most successful production companies in Argentina, founded in 2004 by Campanella. 100 Bares Productions stands out for the quality and dedication in its projects, including feature films for both TV and the big screen, both fictional and documentary TV shows, and commercials.
Director, scriptwriter and film and television producer, Campanella is a renowned film and television talent. Among his films are: El mismo amor, la misma lluvia (1999), El hijo de la novia (2001), Luna de Avellaneda (2004), El secreto de sus ojos (2009) and Metegol (2013).
He was also one of the producers and supervisors of the film Belgrano (2010), directed by Sebastián Pivotto.
El hijo de la novia was nominated for the best non-English speaking film, like El secreto de sus ojos, that received the award at the 2010 ceremony. This film, on the other hand, was adapted in 2015 with the title Secret in Their Eyes.
In television he has been the creator, director and scriptwriter of the series Vientos de agua (2006), El hombre de tu vida (2011-2012), Entre caníbales (2015) and was director in the first season of the series Colony and executive producer of the second season of the same series.
He has also worked in several educational and social programs for the channel Encuentro del Ministerio de Educación. In the United States, he has directed episodes of various series such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, House M. D. and Halt and Catch Fire.
