Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Amaricas unveiled its new Programming and Formats Sales division, and announced the appointment of Guillermo Borensztein as VP of Sales for Content and Co-Productions.

Pierluigi Gazzolo, president of VIMN Americas, presented the company's new Programming and Formats Sales division, and announced the appointment of Guillermo Borensztein as VP of Sales for Content and Co-Productions.
 
"After acquiring Telefe, our content offer has increased enormously, now with products for all age groups, from pre-school to kids and teens, to the coveted primetime adults' demo," Gazzolo said.
 
"With this new sales structure, we are now better positioned to satisfy our pay TV, broadcast TV and SVOD clients' every need," he added.
 
Thus, Borensztein -who's been part of the Telefe team for the last nine years- will report to Rita Herring, SVP of Content Distribution in Miami, and Dario Turovelzky, SVP of Global Content at Telefe and VIMN Argentina.
 
Continuing with Telefe's integration to VIMN's portfolio in America, the new división is designed to satisfy the company's new sales requirements and increase its content distribution capacity, making the most of the VIMN-Telefe combined team.
 
The team, made up by Sales executives from VIMN Americas and Telefe, will oversee content sales for the company's complete catalog in the reigon, including original productions from Telefe and VIMN Americas, and content from Porta dos Fundos in Brazil.
 
Porta dos Fundos will also work with and report to the International Program Sales (IPS) department at Viacom International Media Networks, led by Caroline Beaton, SVP of IPS.
 
"I'm sure Guillermo is the right person to lead this new department, which is key for the future success of our business and will be fundamental in allowing us to capitalize the thousands of incredible content hours we own," Gazzolo said.
 
Caroline Beaton added: "We are pleased to be working with Guillermo and the Americas' team to maximize the potential of Viacom's complete content catalog all over Latin America."
