The Globo miniseries premiered last Monday, November 27 on Chilean screens thanks to Mega, dominating on its 11:40pm timeslot and rated as the fourth most watched program in the country.

Globo miniseries Above Justice made its debut in Chile on Monday, November 27, on local network Mega, becoming the leading show on its 11:40pm timeslot.

In addition, the Brazilian series became the fourth most watched show in the country upon its debut, while broadcast of episodes two and three were also on the lead in the days that followed.

The broadcast is part of a deal between Mega and Globo by which the Chilean network will air the Brazilian giant’s productions, something that Canal 13 used to do. Thus, Above Justice is the second title from Globo to air on Mega after Total Dreamer.

With the first episode, Chilean audiences learned the story of Vicente, the untimely and violent son of a rich businessman. When the boy's father loses everything, his girlfriend Isabela begins to question the relationship and, confused, ends up getting involved with another person.

When they are discovered together, Vicente shoots and kills Isabela, a crime for which he is sentenced to prison. Seven years later, Elisa, who hasn’t coped with the death of her daughter, is preparing to take revenge on Vicente, who has just been released from prison. However, he will have to face his own demons upon discovering that the young man now has a new wife and a young daughter.

The next day, they were introduced to Fatima, a humble and hard-working domestic worker who sees her life transformed by being unfairly accused of hiding drugs in her home. After serving the sentence for a crime she did not commit, she will have to rebuild her life without her husband, and try to reunite with her children, who have disappeared.

And the third episode shows the case of the friends Rose and Débora. The first is arrested with friend’s drugs, while the second is released. After forced maturity in prison, Rose will help Debora take revenge on the man who raped her while they were apart.

During its broadcast in Brazil, the series had an average daily reach of about 41 million viewers and a total reach of around 134 million viewers.

The cast includes Adriana Esteves (Brazil Avenue), Marina Ruy Barbosa (Total Dreamer), Cauã Reymond (Brazil Avenue), Leandra Leal (Empire), Drica Moraes (Hidden Truths), among others.
