Subscribing to the Turkish telenovela trend, the network announced its very first titles: Time Goes By (under the working title Tormenta de Pasiones) from Kanal D International and Brave and Beautiful, from Eccho Rights.
*Time Goes By
Time Goes By is set in 1967 and revolves around the Akarsu family, a family that will forever be changed when the mother finds a letter that reveals her husband is having an affair with a foreign woman named Caroline.
The series has 120 nighty-minute episodes and has already been successfully broadcasted in several territories around the world including Argentina (Telefe), Telemundo (US Hispanic), Puerto Rico (Wapa TV), Chile (Cilevisión), and Greece (Star), among many others.
Brave and Beautiful, in turn, is an Ay Yapım production that tells a love story tainted by murder, mystery, lies and revenge through thirty-two, 150-minute episodes. The show was broadcasted through Latin America in Mexico (Imagen Television), Peru (Wapa), and Chile (Mega), as well as Greece on ANT1 and Kosovo (Kohavision).
Original Productions, Realities and Telenovelas
The network is also presenting some original scripted shows, some telenovelas and some reality shows. As for originals, the highlight goes to Infieles, a special production for Canal Uno from FoxTelecolombia, and with it, reality show Guerreros.
As for telenovelas, the network is presenting Telemundo's Wild Flower, an RTI Producciones production that debuted in 2011 and Decisions of Women, also from Telemundo and RTI.
The network's president, Felipe Boshell, also mentioned that the programming will have 10 hours of live content per day, including a strong focus on news. The network will also have variety shows, magazines and entertainment formats.
It will also air series and family movies, while it will place all its chips on WWE for the weekends.
The executive also emphasized the network's plans to launch "a very robust digital platform" that will allow on-demand access to the network's content and will also beef up its offering with the production of originals.
