During the event, Francisco Cordero and Marco Forte will present before the international market, this Mexican private equity investment fund, which aims to finance film and TV projects in Latin America and Spain.

Just a few days before the start of Conecta Fiction's second edition, which will take place on June 18-21 in the Galician city of Santiago de Compostela, we can inform a little about the agenda and participants.

The latest news to be announced is that during the co-production event VCS Capital will be officially presented to the international market. This is the only private equity investment fund in Mexico that looks to invest and develop audiovisual film and TV projects for the Spanish-speaking market.

Among its main objectives, VCS Capital is looking to; on the one hand, generate attractive returns for investors through a diversified portfolio that's focused on an industry that's exhibited a potential for growth.

And on the other, the company wants to promote the development of a high-quality film and television industry in Spanish-speaking markets.

"It's essential for VCS Capital to participate in meeting points like Conecta Fiction, since it allows us to find projects in development, generate professional relationships and internationalize the projects in which we choose to invest," explained Francisco Cordero and Marco Forte, founders of the fund.

Francisco Cordero is Fund Manager at VCS Capital and founding partner of BTF Media, which has produced hit shows like Hasta que te conocí, Su nombre era Dolores and El César. All these have had some of the highest ratings in the US Hispanic and Latin American markets.

Currently, BTF Media has a co-production deal with Disney Media Distribution Latin America for the production of fictions and other genres, and is currently making a series on footballer Diego Armando Maradona, as well as a series on Isabel Pantoja.

Meanwhile, Marco Forte is also a Fund Manager at VCS Capital. An Industrial Engineer from Mexico City's Universidad Iberoamericana, he has also completed several other programs including the Private Capital Management Program at IPADE. He collaborated in Monte Piedad's Social Investment Fund, and the 100 MDD Fund from Venture Capital, focused on companies with social impact.

In addition, he collaborated as Business Administrator in the Entrepreneurial Capital area at Nacional Financiera.
