The service is bringing the best of Spain to Latin America with the premiere the new season Chiringuito de Pepe and the exclusive new series Lo que escondían sus ojos, which will be available starting July 18.

July is Spain's month on DirecTV. Starting on July 18, subscribers to the service will be able to enjoy two top notch Spanish productions from Mediaset Spain: the latest season of Chiringuito de Pepe and the first season of Lo que escondían sus ojos.

The first series will air at 9pm on Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay and at 10pm in Chile and Venezuela. The second one will hit screens at 10:30pm in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay and at 11:30 in Chile and Venezuela.

Both series are produced and distributed and Mediaset Spain and have broadcasted with great success on local network Telecinco. Lo que escondían sus ojos, ended its run with a 19.2% screen share and 3.1 million viewers.

In addition, its debut on Spanish screens was the best for a national fiction by reaching a 19.3% share and 3.3 million viewers.

With an average of 18.9% screen share and 3.2 million viewers through its run, the romance became one of the most watched series of 2016 in Spain after La que se avecina (Telecinco) and Velvet (Antena 3).

The series follows the attraction between the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Rubén Cortada) and the beautiful and impetuous Marquise of Llanzo (Blanca Suárez), who are drawn to each other despite the political and social situation.

Set in 1940, amidst the new Francoist regime in Spain in a continent that's still reeling from the Second World War, the couple will have to face a conservative society which will follow and judge their every step.

In addition, Chiringuito de Pepe also had a great debut with an initial season that achieved a 23% screen share and four million viewers, and a second season that was a little bit less enthusiastically received by audiences. In fact, the last episode had a 12.4% screen share and 1.7 million viewers.

The cooking series showcases the life of renowned chef Sergi Roca (Santi Millán) while he's faced with a major challenge: breathing new life into a restaurant with a terrible reputation in Peñíscola due to a deal with its owner, Pepe Leal (Jesús Bonilla), who turns out to be his father.
