Inter Medya Presents New Content in Cannes

The Turkish distributor is headed to Mipcom 2017 with new formats such as Money Monster, Chef's Arena, 1 vs. 10 and more. In addition, the company announced a recent deal with Avsar Film for Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters.

This upcoming edition of Mipcom is all about new content for Inter Medya. The Turkish distributor is coming to the market with new format releases and a stand out drama series that spearheads its offering.

The title is Mrs. Fazilet and Her Daughters, which joins the catalogue after a deal with Avsar Film. The show will be presented to the international market for the first time after airing in Turkey since March 2017.

The drama tells the story of a mother and her two daughters, who live a modest life in Istanbul and dream of becoming wealthy and successful.

As for formats, the company is presenting five new and surprising titles that join a new but constantly growing slate of content.

"I am very proud of our catalogue. Although we have only entered the format business recently, it is very exciting to see how much our catalogue has grown with the variety of formats we have to offer," highlighted Can Okan, the Founder and CEO of Inter Medya.

The first is brand-new quiz show Money Monster, an Inter Medya format which presents the contestant with the opportunity to win as much cash as they can count in 60 seconds.

Following up is 1 vs. 10, where one contestant is asked ten questions but instead of answering he has to pick one rival out of ten, who he believes will answer incorrectly; Chef's Arena, a cooking show in which the ingredients the contestants have to cook with are determined by a spinning wheel; and Do You Have an Idea?, a show that aims to find entrepreneurs with new business ideas.

Last but not least is The Tactic, an endurance reality show in which two teams of ten compete against each other in a natural environment while carrying gold bars.
