Titled Aviv or Eyal, the show debuted strongly on Keshet 12 this Monday as part of the channel's primetime programing, outperforming the timeslot average and increasing the ratings and share.

Keshet's formats continue to be a hit in Israel. On Monday the company launched its new singing competition, Aviv or Eyal, on Keshet 12 to great ratings.

Airing as part of the channel's primetime programing, the show outperformed the timeslot average and increased ratings and share by 28% and 23% respectively. And it even performed well against its main competitor, Reshet’s Game of Chefs.

In addition, the show connected well with Keshet 12's key demographic, increasing ratings amongst Adults 18-49 by 52% and share by 46% for the 9pm slot.

Aviv or Eyal sees two of Israel’s most popular and controversial performers, Aviv Geffen and Eyal Golan, settle their differences to host a head to head battle over Israel’s next great singing talent.

This gladiatorial singing competition is a clash between two worlds: two musical genres - Mediterranean pop vs. Israeli rock - and two subcultures - liberal vs conservative.  Who will win this cultural, musical and personal clash and create Israel’s next big star?

Co-created and produced by Tedy Productions and Keshet - the team behind internationally successful singing formats Rising Star and Master Class - Aviv or Eyal will be taken to market later this year by Keshet International.

To be the link between the main players in the entertainment industry is not an easy task. It means creating a platform aimed at a group of highly informed and demanding professionals. But with great effort and commitment, we did it.
