The media company made a deal with the Canal + company for the launch of five international live channels on its OTT TV Everywhere app, VEMOX. The new additions provide the Hispanic audience with more content and entertainment options.
Olympusat and THEMA-Alterna'TV, a Canal + company and world supplier of quality content, have partnered up for the launch of five international live channels on its own OTT TV Everywhere app, VEMOX.
VEMOX, Olympusat’s OTT TV Everywhere turnkey solution, gives customers the ability to watch over 60 linear live channels in Spanish and English, and thousands of movies and series On Demand, offering the viewer an array of high quality programming from North, Central and South America.
Thus, the deal seeks to provide the Hispanic market with a wide selection of Spanish-language channels and more content and entertainment options to choose from.
"VEMOX audiences now have the THEMA-Alterna'TV channels as part of their ideal television experience," stated Aurora Bacquerie, VP of Channel Relations at Olympusat. "With this new networks addition, VEMOX is one of the OTT platform options where value continues to improve."
As part of the partnership between Olympusat and THEMA-Alterna'TV, subscribers will be able to enjoy the following channels:
AyM Sports - Provides live coverage of wrestling matches, rodeo, the Mexican 2nd division soccer league, and college sports.
CBTV – A leading channel offering a local view of the daily lives of people from Michoacán State in Mexico and abroad.
Canal Once – A channel dedicated to exclusive educational programming as a public service of the Mexican National Polytechnic Institute.
PXTV – Provides young adults with fun programming, from lifestyle, fashion and music, to live events and extreme sports.
Telemicro Internacional – A Dominican TV channel featuring movies, news, variety shows and a live broadcast of the Dominican baseball league.
To be the link between the main players in the entertainment industry is not an easy task. It means creating a platform aimed at a group of highly informed and demanding professionals. But with great effort and commitment, we did it.
