The Middle Eastern adaptation of the Spanish daily series, originally coproduced by RTVE and Boomerang TV, debuts this May 15 on CBC Egypt, Dubai TV and OSN under title Eugénie Nights.

Acacias 38 continues to travel internationally with quite the success. RTVE's daily series, produced by Boomerang TV and broadcasted on Spain's La 1 for three seasons, is reaching the Middle East this month of May.

Under the title Eugénie Nights, the Arabic adaptation is co-produced in Egypt by Beelink Productions and Eagle Films Middle East, and will debut on May 15 - the first day of Ramadan - on networks CBC Egypt, Dubai TV and OSN.

Season one of the series, which has a total of thirty 40-minute episodes, is directed by Hany Khalifa and written by Samaa Abd El Khalek and Ingy Kassem.

It stars renowned Egyptian actors like Dhafer L'Abidine, Amina Khalil, Injy El Mokkaddem and Carmen Bsaibes.

With this new adaptation, Acacias 38 continues its successful journey outside of Spain. In Italy, the original series has been successfully broadcasted for more than three years.

Una vita, the title under which the series was dubbed into Italian, has become a phenomenon, becoming the leading show in Canale 5 (Mediaset) where it continues to lead in its timeslot as well, bringing together some 3 million viewers day after day.

Acacias 38, season one

Set in 1899, Acacias 38 follows a group of maids and the bourgeois families they work for. It’s the story of the rich and the poor, which reflects the collision of two very different worlds in a single space, in a portal: Acacias 38.
