In the week from April 2-8, titles like Money Heist and The Mechanism stand out among the most demanded digital originals in the Latin American country, with Netflix dominating undefeated. The Walking Dead leads the overall ranking.
According to recent data from Parrot Analytics, in the week from April 2-8, Stranger Things and The Walking Dead were the most demanded series in Peru.
The Netflix original series dominates, undefeated, over all other digital originals in almost every Latin American country -Argentina, Chile, Venezuela- and Spain; while The Walking Dead, after a season without Game of Thrones, begins to gain ground in the general ranking.
And although the list of digital originals is dominated by Netflix, the presence of Spanish-language series like Money Heist, and Portuguese speaking dramas like The Mechanism, also stand out.
In this way, the platform's Spanish series - in second place with 1,030,268 ADE - has more than one million demand expressions, same as Stranger Things - which is on the top spot with 1,122,535 of ADE.
Third place went for Dark - 490.028 ADE -, which has been attracting a lot of attention in Latin America since its debut as Netflix's first German series.
The digital ranking is completed by other successful titles on the platform like Black Mirror, 13 Reasons Why, Marvel's Jessica Jones, Sense8 and Marvel's The Punisher.
An honorable mention goes to Japanese anime series Devilman Crybaby, based on manga Devilman by Go Nagai, which appears on ninth place with 316,619 ADE. The genre has also earned a spot in the most watched ranking.
The overall ranking was led by The Walking Dead on the top spot, followed by Vikings on second place with 3,054,402 demand expressions.
However, the novelty is the presence of animated shows like Star Vs. The Forces Of Evil and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, in addition to mangas like The Seven Deadly Sins and Tokyo Ghoul.
Blindspot, Game Of Thrones, Once Upon A Time and Spongebob Squarepants have also made their way into the ranking.
To be the link between the main players in the entertainment industry is not an easy task. It means creating a platform aimed at a group of highly informed and demanding professionals. But with great effort and commitment, we did it.
