One of Armoza's most relevant formats, which ask contestants to distinguish between real and fake news, has been acquired by ITV Entertainment for production in the US.

Armoza Formats has announced that its entertainment format The Bubble has been acquired by ITV Entertainment, ITV America's production company and home to successful titled like Hell’s Kitchen (Fox), The First 48 (A&E) and Netflix's new Queer Eye reboot.

The Bubble (30-45') is a very adaptable format that isolates celebrity contestants in a "bubble" for an entire week, without internet access, mobile devices of TV.

After the week is done, celebs go to the studio and find out what happened during the week in terms of politics, sports and international events, but they must find a way to distinguish real news from fake news. As such, The Bubble sheds some light on the fact that fact can be weirder than fiction.

More than 100 episodes of the format have been broadcasted in eight countries, including the UK (BBC), Croatia (HTV1) and Sweden (STV), where it aired on primetime.

"Armoza Formats is constantly taking risks by creating high quality entertainment formats that explore cultural issues in an unusual way," claimed David Eilenberg, president of ITV Entertainment. "We're delighted to continue doing business with Armoza Formats and we're hoping that The Bubble climbs to the top in the US."

On his end, Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, added: "Given the context of today's world, we can see that The Bubble will once again be the center of attention, not only because people are more and more dependent on technology, but because it has never been harder to know what's real and what's not."

So, at a time where it's difficult to distinguish fact from fiction, the company's CEO believes that The Bubble is a must-have show for all networks around the globe, and that ITV Entertainment is "the perfect partner to secure its success in the US."
