ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, today unveiled the official poster for its new original film Instintos. This thriller will premiere exclusively on the platform’s premium tier on August 29.
The film is directed by Sebastián Borensztein, an acclaimed filmmaker whose work in film and television has earned him prestigious honors including the Ariel, the Goya, and the International Emmy.
Starring in this new ViX production are Kate del Castillo (Es por tu bien, Volver a caer), Bruno Bichir (Narcos, El callejón de los milagros), Daniela Schmidt (Dante y Soledad, Latido) and Iván Marcos (Ángela, Las Chicas del Cable)
In Instintos, Maggie (Kate del Castillo) is in the final days of her pregnancy and plans to spend a quiet weekend at her countryside home with her husband (Bruno Bichir), a respected psychologist, as they prepare for the arrival of their long-awaited baby. However, their plans are disrupted when two intruders break into the house and decide to hold them hostage until Monday, intending to drain their bank accounts. But one of the assailants (Daniela Schmidt) has a different agenda, and as the baby’s arrival draws near, secrets will emerge that no one could have imagined.
