El Reino Infantil, the largest Spanish-language children’s channel in the world, was proud to take part in the celebration of YouTube Kids’ 10th anniversary, held at YouTube’s headquarters in New York City.
This important participation was represented by Paula Lavinia Oblanca, Head of Publishing & Operations, and Karina Giamello, Digital Programming & Content Strategy Manager at El Reino Infantil.
Organized by the global YouTube Kids team, the event brought together top children’s content creators from around the world to celebrate a decade of growth, innovation, and commitment to young audiences. For El Reino Infantil, the occasion marked a particularly special moment: the celebration of reaching 70 million subscribers on its Spanish-language channel — a milestone that further solidifies its global leadership and relevance.
As part of the day’s activities, Paula Lavinia Oblanca was invited to join a panel discussion on creating multi-format content and the challenges this entails in today’s digital ecosystem. She shared the stage with leading figures in the children’s content industry such as Jasmine Dawson (BBC Studios, representing Bluey), Danyel Mendoza (Disney), and Juliano Prado (Galinha Pintadinha), in a session moderated by Alexis Rice and organized by Hayley Clark, both from the YouTube Kids team.
The event was also attended by key YouTube executives, including Katie Kurtz (Director, Global Head of Youth & Learning), Tim Katz (VP, Partnerships – Responsibility, Podcasting, Canada/Latin America), and James Beser (Director, Product Management), who warmly welcomed El Reino Infantil and recognized its trajectory and achievements.
As a gesture of appreciation and to symbolize the strong partnership, El Reino Infantil presented Katie Kurtz with a Bartolito figurine, one of the most beloved characters from La Granja de Zenón.
El Reino Infantil extends its deepest thanks to Isaac Ochoa (Health and Youth Lead at YouTube) for his ongoing support and for being present throughout every step of the process. We also want to thank Karina Szmulewicz (YouTube Learning & Top Creators Lead) for the journey shared over the past years, as well as the entire YouTube team for their warm hospitality.
With over 70 million subscribers on its Spanish-language channel and growing, El Reino Infantil reaffirms its commitment to creating quality content with strong values, tailored to today’s digital consumption habits. This recognition from YouTube Kids not only celebrates the path already traveled but also marks the beginning of a new phase of growth and meaningful connection with children around the world.
