American Prince: JFK Jr. (3 x 1 hr, EverWonder Studios for CNN, US) offers a three-part boxset reflecting on an American icon of the 1990s – John F Kennedy Jr. Glamorous and escapist viewing American Prince: JFK Jr. is steeped in vivid 90’s nostalgia and features A-list contributors, including Robert DeNiro and Cindy Crawford. The series transports audiences back to the halcyon days of 1990s New York, whilst also offering compelling contemporary history and biography that expands on the broader Kennedy legacy.

One-off special The Moonies: Married to the Cult (1½ hr, Story Films, with co-producer Objective Media Group for Prime Video, UK) delves into a cult family saga, revealing the explosive truth behind the widely popular religious movement and featuring unprecedented access to insiders, including founder Rev. Moon’s own son speaking out for the first time.

Unscripted Formats

All scripted and unscripted titles listed are produced in association with All3Media International.

A host of popular unscripted formats will be available at MIP CANCUN, headlined by four bold reality entertainment formats that ask provocative questions about wealth, power, behaviour and identity. Three formats from acclaimed producer Studio Lambert feature in the line-up, including The Circle, which sees a group of strangers living in one modern building and competing to win a cash prize – but only interacting with each other through a bespoke social media platform.

In the wickedly immersive The Inheritance – which starred Elizabeth Hurley as the glamorous benefactor in the UK version – strangers arrive at a grand country estate, where the opportunity to inherit a vast fortune awaits, if they can outplay, out-charm and out-scheme the competition to get it.

And timely reality competition Rise and Fall sees a diverse group of contestants split into two groups: rulers, who live in an opulent penthouse, and grafters, who are confined to the basement. Across a series of challenges, those at the bottom must find a way to make it to the top, as only the most powerful can win the game.

The Indian version of the format launched on Amazon MX Player’s earlier this year, and was recently crowned the most-watched show in the Indian streamer’s history. Filled with big celebrity personalities and intense emotional drama, this version demonstrates strong potential for the format to resonates with LATAM audiences.

Finally, as our online world grows ever more polarised, Animo TV’s Dinner with the Enemy asks whether we should focus more on what unites us than what divides us. Strangers with opposing opinions come together for one explosive week of dinner parties, where conversations cannot be paused, muted or unfollowed. But will these enemies find common ground, or will the divide only deepen?

Yari Torres, VP Latin America & US Hispanic at All3Media International, commented, “We can’t wait to showcase this diverse collection of premium content and formats at MIP CANCUN. Our finished show slate offers exciting opportunities for broadcasters and platforms to secure incredible world-class content, whether that’s star-studded dramas created by acclaimed producers or unmissable premium documentaries promising exclusive insight into compelling real-life stories. We’re expecting strong interest in our extensive line-up of reality entertainment formats, as more buyers look to captivate Latin American audiences with dramatic, addictive, locally produced television that reflects the world they live in.”
