The partnership brings major hits of Brazilian telenovelas to Todo Novelas, Más Pasiones, a FAST channel that features some of the most acclaimed telenovelas and drama series in the world.
Globo announced a new licensing agreement with Hemisphere Media Group, one of the leading multiplatform media companies in the United States focused on the Hispanic and Latin American markets.
The partnership brings major hits of Brazilian telenovelas to Todo Novelas, Más Pasiones, a FAST channel that features some of the most acclaimed telenovelas and drama series in the world. The channel offers genre fans immersive narratives and award-winning productions, expanding the reach of Globo’s stories among Latin audiences.
With the agreement, major classics such as The Clone, The Other Side of Paradise, Hidden Truths, ‘Her Own Destiny, and the series The Presence of Anita become part of the Todo Novelas, Más Pasiones catalog starting in November.
Globo and Hemisphere maintain a strong partnership in the region. WAPA TV, the leading broadcast television channel in Puerto Rico, and the cable channel Pasiones, distributed in the United States and Latin America, are airing Pantanal, strengthening the connection between Hispanic audiences and Brazilian productions.
“We are very pleased with this new agreement with Hemisphere Media Group. Licensing classic telenovelas or titles that have achieved great success in these territories to platforms that are growing and proving to be extremely profitable and important exhibition windows is part of our strategy to expand the reach of our stories. The Latin audience has an emotional bond with Brazilian drama, and seeing these productions available on new platforms further reinforces that connection,” says Paula Venturim, Content Distribution & Partnerships at Globo.
“We are delighted to expand our partnership with Globo and incorporate into our catalog some of the most iconic and globally recognized Brazilian productions. These stories stand out for their narrative quality, high production value, and the emotional impact they have on audiences. Integrating them into our FAST channel Todo Novelas, Más Pasiones strengthens our strategy of offering premium and culturally relevant content, expanding our leadership position in Spanish-language entertainment and deepening our connection with Hispanic audiences in the United States and Latin America,” said Marina Dimitrius, VP of Pay TV and Digital Channels at Hemisphere Media Group.
