Spanish animation company Ánima Kitchent and Indonesia-based animation studio Mocca Studio have entered into a co-production agreement for Season Two of the preschool series Baby Zu.
Under the agreement the partners will produce 52 new 3-minute episodes of the 3D animated series, reinforcing brand continuity and supporting long-term growth of the Baby Zu franchise across international markets.
Available in English, Spanish and Portuguese Baby Zu is a fun and educational series for children aged 3–6, designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and physical activity. Set in a colorful world full of adorable animal characters, the series combines music, storytelling and interactive learning to entertain and educate young minds.
Baby Zu is designed to deliver safe, high-quality and culturally relevant entertainment that supports early childhood education. Through relatable characters and everyday scenarios, the series encourages a positive attitude towards learning while promoting moral and ethical development for young audiences.
As part of Baby Zu’s growing momentum, Season One is currently airing in Indonesia under an exclusive two-year broadcast agreement with leading free to air television network Mentari TV, renowned for its commitment to quality family programming.
In parallel with its broadcast success, Baby Zu continues to demonstrate strong performance on YouTube where the channel has emerged as a highly engaging digital platform with exceptional audience loyalty and growth. The channel features 85 original videos (excluding compilations and short-form content) and maintains a robust release schedule of up to eight new episodes per month.
Audience engagement is reflected in an impressive 84% returning viewer rate, contributing to an average of nearly 6,000 new subscribers per day. The channel’s top performing videos by lifetime views include Naik Kerata Api (Train Song) with 69.9 million views, Roda Roda Bis (Wheels on the Bus) 33.2 million views and Cit Cit Cuit (Animal Sounds) with 26.8 million views.
