The new IP development studio is launching with a slate that already includes four original IP for young audiences in early stage creative development, an animated feature film in script and visual development, and a transmedia property with mobile game potential in development.

Kids’ content industry expert and former Creative Director at Moonbug Entertainment, Rich Staplehurst, announced the launch of Noodle & Caboodle Entertainment, a new IP development studio, which is dedicated to creating meaningful stories for young audiences.

“For years I’ve been creative director on campaigns and stories for studios, games companies and global entertainment brands. But like many creatives, my own noodle has always been full of original ideas waiting for the right moment”, the executive said in a statement to announce the launch of the new studio. “Since my time as Creative Director for Moonbug Entertainment and recent trips to MIP Jnr we have been working on a few projects in the background to build a home and playground for our original IP”.

The new studio is launching with a slate that already includes four original IP for young audiences in early stage creative development, an animated feature film in script and visual development, and a transmedia property with mobile game potential in development.

“Our ambition with Noodle & Caboodle Entertainment Ltd is to create playful, imaginative worlds designed to travel across platforms – animation, games, toys, publishing and beyond”, he added. “As a creative myself, I am passionate about building something meaningful that will somehow add value the wider creative community. My hope in the near future is that Noodle & Caboodle will soon help create some new opportunities for paid work and collaboration with the brilliant people I’ve met along the way. Be it producers, writers, character designers, VO, animators and fellow storytellers”.
