The Brazilian group traveled to Los Angeles motivated by the major deal they closed with Disney and with several new biblical productions.

This week, prior to their arrival at the new edition of LA Screenings, Seriella shared the first images and teasers of their latest biblical production, Amor en ruinas, an epic 35-episode series that will premiere soon on Disney+.
The series is also part of a package of seven titles that will premiere on the platform following a significant agreement between the two groups. In addition to Amor en ruinas, the package includes Ben-Hur, which will premiere in the second half of the year, as well as other content from 2026, such as La ira del heredero and Las siete Marías, plus the acclaimed biblical series, Jesus.
“This agreement is very gratifying for us because it recognizes the quality of our products; past, present, and future,” began Natan Oletto, Commercial Projects and Acquisitions Coordinator for the Brazilian production and distribution company, in an interview with ttvnews in Los Angeles.
“When someone buys our content before even seeing the finished product, it’s because they trust our production quality. In this agreement with Disney, we’re grateful that they trust us, and it’s huge for us to have series on a platform like Disney,” the executive added.
“La ira del heredero is a bit more dramatic, while Amor en ruinas is a love story, or romance, that’s also found in the Bible, about a prophet who married at God’s command. It’s a true love story,” he explained. “As for Ben-Hur, we already know the story, which has been very famous for 50 years since the first Ben-Hur film came out. We’re going to continue in the same vein, with a drama, a family drama, a historical drama, and also plenty of adventure, lots of battles, and everything else.”
On the other hand, and continuing with the biblical genre, the executive also highlighted other major titles, such as Pablo, el apóstol and The Queen of Persia.
“Both titles are available for the international market. We’re talking to many clients, and they’re being very well received. They’re very different stories, but both have family drama, love, tradition—they have everything. So they’re performing very well,” he emphasized.
Beyond the Bible, the executive revealed that they are exploring other genres with production potential. “To make a micro-series, short films, or vertical content, we have a very important team working on it. We’re working on it, and we may have news in the future,” he concluded.
