Eccho Rights will begin introducing King Shakir and Super Team to international buyers at upcoming markets, starting this week at NEM Dubrovnik.
International distributor Eccho Rights has acquired the worldwide television and theatrical rights to the Turkish animated franchises King Shakir (Kral Şakir) and Super Team (Süper Bir Takım), both produced by Grafi2000 Productions.
The agreement marks a strategic move for the company, expanding its portfolio beyond drama and strengthening its presence in the animation sector with two of Turkey’s most successful children’s properties.
Created by Varol Yaşaroğlu for Cartoon Network Turkey, King Shakir is the country’s longest-running and most successful animated series. Since its launch in 2016, it has amassed 400 episodes across ten seasons and spawned four theatrical feature films. The franchise has also become a major box office success, with its second movie attracting more than two million cinema admissions.

Meanwhile, Super Team, also created and produced by Yaşaroğlu, comprises 52 episodes and continues to expand its universe with the recent theatrical release of Süper Bir Takım: Varol Abi’nin Çizgi Film Makinesi, which premiered in late May 2026.
Under the deal, Eccho Rights will handle the worldwide television rights to both franchises, as well as the theatrical rights to all four King Shakir films and the new Super Team feature.
“Eccho Rights understands how to build international audiences for Turkish content, and this partnership gives King Shakir and Super Team the global platform they deserve,” said Varol Yaşaroğlu, creator and producer at Grafi2000.
Handan Özkubat, Director of Turkish Drama at Eccho Rights, added: “King Shakir is an established franchise with a decade-long track record and proven performance, while Super Team brings a second compelling universe from the same creative mind. This is exactly the kind of high-quality Turkish storytelling we know how to champion internationally.”
Eccho Rights will begin introducing both titles to international buyers at upcoming markets, starting this week at NEM Dubrovnik.
