The new stage adds to TIS Studios’ existing crews, expertise, and production infrastructure already serving major international productions in Colombia.
TIS Studios, the leading production studio across Spanish-speaking markets, announced the completion of Stage 7, a new soundstage built to host large-scale international film and television productions.
Stage 7 expands what is already a full-service production studio, not simply a rental facility.
TIS Studios delivers complete production services, develops and produces original programming through its own Development and Content division, and brings finished projects and formats to global markets through its International Distribution unit.
At 18,300 square feet and 40 feet high, Stage 7 is the largest and tallest soundstage in Colombia and the wider region, fully soundproofed and equipped with a technical grid and dedicated climate systems built to support premium scripted and unscripted productions at scale. It now stands among the largest production facilities in Latin America.

Combined with Colombia’s production incentives, it gives producers, showrunners, and production studios around the world one more reason to bring their most ambitious projects here.”
Productions based at Stage 7 have direct access to the full range of support facilities on TIS Studios’ production lot, including 20 green rooms, dedicated control rooms, catering spaces, wardrobe and makeup areas, production offices, props, set dressing, and wardrobe warehouses, and on-site parking, all backed by a rigorous back-office and a reputation for reliability and business integrity built over nearly three decades.
Beyond Stage 7, the lot includes seven additional production stages, including a dedicated casting studio, alongside a range of standing sets such as a prison, a restaurant, and a fully dressed house interior. A three-level backlot with interchangeable facades rounds out the physical production spaces. The lot also houses a dedicated postproduction campus, fully interconnected with the production infrastructure and offering cloud-based offline and online editing, color correction, Dolby Atmos-certified sound mixing, and visual effects services under one roof, all eligible for Colombia’s national production incentive. A still photo studio and full equipment rental services complete the offering.
The launch of Stage 7 comes as TIS Studios continues to grow its production business, building on nearly three decades of experience and a slate that has included work for Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Paramount, CBS Studios, MTV, Fox Television Studios, Nickelodeon, NBCUniversal, and Telemundo among others.
