The slate includes Parole Examiner Lee, Unlock My Boss, Mother and Mom, and Pale Moon.

MediaHub has completed a licensing agreement with MBC Group’s Shahid for four Korean drama titles from KT Studio Genie: Parole Examiner Lee, Unlock My Boss, Mother and Mom, and Pale Moon.

KT Studio Genie is the content studio of Korea Telecom, one of South Korea’s leading telecommunications and media groups. MediaHub added the four titles to its international distribution slate as part of a broader distribution agreement with KT Studio Genie covering a slate of Korean scripted series late last year.

The four dramas span a range of genres, from legal and crime stories to family and psychological drama. Parole Examiner Lee follows a former correction officer turned lawyer navigating the legal system for powerful criminals.

Unlock My Boss follows an unemployed young man who discovers a smartphone containing the spirit of tech CEO.

Mother and Mom focuses on a working mother determined to secure the best education for her young daughter, enlisting her own mother to help navigate the intensely competitive environment.

Pale Moon, follows a bored housewife who takes a contract position at a bank and begins to regain her confidence and independence, and becoming entangled in the financial affairs of wealthy clients.

The Shahid deal draws on MediaHub’s international catalogue, which brings together scripted and unscripted content from a range of territories alongside the company’s Turkish originals slate. In addition to its Korean titles, the catalogue includes content from various territories, spanning across Europe, LATAM and CIS, and other international markets.
