The company will present two keynotes in Cannes focused on audience evolution, content consumption and the new dynamics shaping the global TV and streaming market.

Glance, a company specializing in TV and video market intelligence and audience measurement, will participate in MipJunior 2026 and Mipcom 2026 with two sessions focused on the key trends transforming audiovisual consumption worldwide.

The company will use audience data from more than 100 territories to analyze evolving viewing habits, the behavior of younger generations and the dynamics shaping the competition for audience attention among broadcasters, platforms and other players across the audiovisual ecosystem.

At MipJunior, Glance will present the keynote Next-Gen Viewing: Trends Shaping Children’s Content on Saturday, October 10, led by Romy Nicolas, International Research Manager at Glance. The session will examine changing consumption habits among younger audiences and the performance of different content and multiplatform strategies.

Drawing on audience data, Nicolas will highlight examples of children’s series that have connected with international audiences, as well as upcoming projects that point to emerging trends in content targeting children and young viewers.

The second presentation will take place during Mipcom 2026 on Monday, October 12, with the keynote Unlocking Audience & Content Dynamics: Who is Watching, What, How and Why?, presented by Frédéric Vaulpré, Senior Vice-President at Glance, and Candice Alessandra, Head of Research and Client Experience.

“The media landscape has never been more fragmented, yet the fundamentals of what makes content succeed remain consistent: understanding who your audience is, where they are and what they want. With unique visibility across more than 100 territories, Glance helps make sense of the abundance of data shaping the global entertainment landscape. Our sessions at MipJunior and Mipcom will give attendees the clarity they need to cut through the noise and make informed strategic decisions,” said Vaulpré.

The session will focus on the evolution of the TV and streaming market following years of content expansion, addressing topics including the growth of Netflix consumption, the differences between YouTube and premium services, the evolution of long-tail viewing and the role of sports rights in the competition for audience attention.

Vaulpré will also analyze the key market developments expected in the coming months and the titles that could drive changes in viewing behavior.

Alessandra, meanwhile, will explore the trends shaping scripted and unscripted content, including the international expansion of series, the influence of the creator economy and the growing hybridization of genres.

“The media landscape has never been more fragmented, yet the fundamentals of what makes content succeed remain consistent: understanding who your audience is, where they are and what they want,” Vaulpré said.

Glance has access to audience data from more than 100 territories and provides official ratings for more than 7,000 channels. The company works with more than 70 data providers and 170 clients, including streaming services and production studios, using multiple sources and methodologies to analyze audience behavior on an international scale.
