The Chilean network, co-producer of the series with RTVE and Boomerang TV, published the first video images of the anticipated series.

Introduced at Conecta Fiction, the Spain-Chile co-production Inés del alma mía continues to take shape and Chilevisión, co-producer of the series with RTVE and Boomerang TV, published the first video images of the anticipated series, which join the photos that RTVE had already revealed.

In them you can finally see the first scenes of the series, whose filming began in September of this year in Extremadura and Granada and then moved to different landscapes in Chile and Peru, such as the Atacama Desert, Santiago de Chile, Valdivia, Araucania, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero or Pisak.

The backstage images also allow viewers to size the scale of the ambitious production, which adapts the book of the same name by Isabel Allende.

The series stars Elena Rivera, Eduardo Noriega and Benjamín Vicuña, alongside Francesc Orella, Carlos Bardem, Enrique Arce, Ismael Martínez, Antonia Giesen and Federico Aguado, among others.

Jorge Redondo, meanwhile, is its executive producer, while the script was led by Paco Mateo. The direction is led by the award-winning Uruguayan director Alejandro Bazzano and the famous Chilean director Nicolás Acuña.

At the head of the Art direction is Koldo Vallés, next to Bernardita Baeza, the photography direction is led by Felipe Alba, and the costume design is the work of Loles Galeán.

Inés del alma mía tells in eight episodes the story of Inés Suárez (Elena Rivera), a brave young woman who travels to the New World in search of her husband and who becomes governor of the current Santiago de Chile.

In the Indies she will also discover the true love of her life, Spanish conqueror Pedro de Valdivia (Eduardo Noriega).
