The production became the telenovela with the widest reach in the history of Globo’s streaming platform.

Airing during Globo TV’s prime time and available on Globoplay, Anything Goes has achieved a new milestone: the production became the telenovela with the widest reach in the history of Globo’s streaming platform, considering the number of unique users who watched the show between March 31 (its premiere date) and August 24. Additionally, last week, Anything Goes also registered the highest on-demand consumption in Globoplay’s history.

Anything Goes success has also extended to social media. The telenovela has over two million mentions, and the hashtag #ValeTudo topped Brazil’s trending topics for 200 hours across the 100 episodes.

Since its debut, more than 134 million Brazilians have watched the series. Reinforcing the relevance of telenovelas and their strong audience engagement, Anything Goes became Globo’s highest-grossing prime time production in Brazil, with 16 brands participating in 76 branded content activations.

As part of TV Globo’s 60th-anniversary celebrations, the new version of Anything Goes revives one of the greatest classics in Brazilian television drama, originally aired in 1988 and written by Gilberto Braga, Aguinaldo Silva, and Leonor Bassères. The 2025 adaptation is written by Manuela Dias (A Mother’s Love, Justice) and artistically directed by Paulo Silvestrini (Never Give Up). The story continues to resonate with audiences by tackling themes like ethics, ambition, and honesty through the turbulent relationship between a mother and daughter with opposing worldviews.
