Bluper revealed Atresmedia has acquired Turkish drama Mr Wrong (Bay Yanlış), distributed by Global Agency.
The media platform specialized in TV, Bluper, reveals that Atresmedia acquired the Turkish series Mr. Wrong (Bay Yanlış) for Spain.
The news is especially relevant in the context of the fight for the leadership of Turkish dramas between Atresmedia and Mediaset España and because Can Yaman, the protagonist of the series, is a figure associated with titles so far only seen on Mediaset.
Mr. Wrong is a romantic comedy produced by Gold Film and distributed internationally by Global Agency. The distributor has not yet confirmed the news.
Starring Can Yaman and Özge Gürel (Cherry season, Dolunay), the series is broadcast in Turkey by Fox, where it has already positioned itself as the audience leader on Fridays among all audiences.
It tells the story of Ezgi and Ozgur. A life of betrayal destroys Ezgi’s hopes of finding Mr. Right and when she meets Ozgur, Mr. Wrong, it seems like a recipe for disaster. But fate, and persistent mothers, conspire to seek a happy ending.
