Akar, who previously served as Head of Sales for Europe, Asia and Africa will now be leading the experienced ATV sales team in all territories
Just a few days shy of Mipcom Cannes 2023, ATV Distribution has announced a new structure for its global distribution team.
Müge Akar, who previously served as Head of Sales for Europe, Asia and Africa has been promoted to Head of Sales Global Distribution.
In her new role, Akar will be leading the experienced ATV sales team for all territories.
At the same time, ATV announced the departure of Emre Görentas, who had been at ATV for six and a half years and was director of Sales for Latin America and MENA.
Akar, joined ATV sales team in 2013. She has an extensive worldwide knowledge and contributed greatly to her former role.
Akar is a member of Worldwide Audiovisual Women’s Association (WAWA), that brings together the most prominent professionals in the audiovisual industry. She has been selected as the international jury at Seoul Drama Awards, 2023.
