The studios confirmed their participation in the inaugural edition of the event, which will take place during Mipcom Online+, joining all3media international, A+E Networks, BBC Studios, Beta Film, Discovery, Inc., ITV Studios, Newen Distribution, ViacomCBS and ZDF Enterprises.

Mipcom announced that Beta Film and ITV Studios will join the line up to premiere content showcases as part of the first annual Mipcom 2020 Global Upfronts presentations.

The Global Upfronts will stream exclusively via Mipcom Online+ beginning Monday 12 October as part of the official kick-off to the digital Mipcom week (Oct. 12-16).

Studios and distributors confirmed to present during the Mipcom Global Upfronts include all3media international, A+E Networks, BBC Studios, Beta Film, Discovery, Inc., ITV Studios, Newen Distribution, ViacomCBS and ZDF Enterprises.

The 2020 Global Upfronts are a new feature at Mipcom and aim to give buyers a fresh look at the most anticipated new programming from the world’s leading studios across all genres. Each studio will curate a dynamic 20-minute showcase of their most anticipated new programming including a mix of finished series and series that are in production or in the pipeline.

Mipcom has also unveiled highlights of its Market Screenings programme offering delegates an exclusive look at the most-anticipated series and programmes across all genres from around the world.

The following screenings will be accessible on the Mipcom Online + platform during Mipcom WEEK (Oct. 12-16):

In partnership with the 3rd edition of Canneseries (Oct. 9-14), the World Premiere of Beta Film’s Atlantic Crossing, will also be presented to delegates around the world on Mipcom Online+ on Monday 12 October.

Mipcom Online+ is the first digital edition of the World’s Entertainment Content Market offering month-long access to inspiring keynotes, screenings, conferences, intel, pitching, networking and more. A premium digital platform offering 1-to-1 video meetings and live chat among attending delegates. Mipcom Online+ will roll out from 5 October to 17 November.
