The Interstate Union of the Audiovisual Industry developed a protocol for audiovisual production to resume, created in conjunction with associations and organizations of health and culture.

The Interstate Union of the Audiovisual Industry (Sicav) announced and presented this week the Protocol of Segurança e Saúde no Trabalho Audiovisual Para Retomada Audiovisual das Atividades no Âmbito da Pandemia de Covid-19.

The document was prepared together with the Interstate Union of Workers of the Film and Audiovisual Industry (STIC) and the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Firjan), among other public health and culture organizations.

As explained by Leonardo Edde, president of the Sicav, it should work as a guide so that each production company and each production can create its own protocol, according to what its reality is like.

The document describes basic technical and organizational measures for risk assessment and infection prevention, highlighting that the document is subject to alteration.

“In a pandemic, nothing is final. The recommendations are reviewed week by week by public bodies. The document needs to accompany updates to the guidelines and legislation,” said Edde, quoted by TelaViva.

The first revision of the document is scheduled for July 5.
